J.D. Davis Homers For Syracuse, Return Quickly Approaching

Mets' infielder/outfielder J.D. Davis has been sidelined for a few weeks with a sprained finger, but will likely return to the big league club sometime this upcoming week. Davis, 28, is part of a long list of Mets' players who have been hit by the injury bug. The list, which now includes 15 players, has been devastating to the team's offense and starting rotation specifically, but New York still finds themselves up 2.5 games in the National League East.
